[/b]~Wicked Lovely ~
(An original plot created from the Novel Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr)[/center]
This is not your ordinary fairytale…
The setting is Modern Day England in a small town right outside a large developed city. The humans, (mortals) live their normal lives, going to school, working, raising their families, befriending neighbors, but little do they know another world parallel to their own is right beneath their feet. At night you can hear the rumbling and the things that go bump in the night. But everyone just ignored the sounds and thought of them to be nothing more than the wind or rustling of the trees, but really it’s much more than that. Just underground lives entire another society, a world unknown to humans but very much known to the race of fairies (immortals). They live there in secrecy to those above them.
Little do most humans know that fairies have been living around them for quite some time, just hidden and can not be seen when fairies are in their natural form (except for those who are special or those who have been touched by fairy dust). Some fairies that are strong enough can pose as a human and walk among them seemingly as normal as them except with extravagant godlike beauty. The fairies have their own royal court and dark court, their “government” though it’s quite imbalanced. The fairy people can be light spirited or quite the opposite and be vicious creatures, those who are though are considered dark fairies and are loyal members to the “dark court”. They completely hate humans and prey upon them using them as slaves or for entertainment purposes. Once a human crosses path with them, they are doomed to be their prey. Dark Fairies are quite clever, mischievous, and most of all untrustworthy. Both the light and dark fairies live together under the ground, beneath the humans where they come out and lure humans into their homes and from there the human is forever bounded to the fairy unable to escape…
